Has happened to me and others. When we draw its one side of the brain. Spelling unfortunately is on the other side and seems to take a vacation often when the art side is working.Ramona Davidsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16028369963542994092noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7604899118228706726.post-26326035369731670162010-04-07T13:30:26.308-07:002010-04-07T13:30:26.308-07:00What a great drawing, and the lettering is superb,...What a great drawing, and the lettering is superb, said the girl who has terrible penmanship. Now I know why, thanks to E*phi! It's actually embarrassing to let people look through my sketchbook. I'm usually a good speller, then there it is...mistakes everywhere!! Love your sketch though, and you're lettering is really good!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00231453420718519162noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7604899118228706726.post-74182779697663068062010-04-07T09:48:53.241-07:002010-04-07T09:48:53.241-07:00E*phi - I totally agree with that idea. And for the spelling mistakes... happens to me aaaall the time, ie. when lettering my nonsense comic or trying to produce beautiful letters in a drawing. I found the reason in the book "drawing on the right side of the brain" in which it says that drawing is a left-brain thing and language/expression a right-hemisphere thing. So when you're drawing (or "drawing letters"), your spelling is expected to suffer.<br />(Always good to have an excuse!)E*phihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06818154916303014995noreply@blogger.com
