Sometimes when I run out of picture ideas I draw old men. Nothing deep or Freudian about it, they are just fun to draw. Maybe it is a foreshadowing of how I may look some day.Drawn with a Shapie pen.

Wonderful cross hatching, and great character in those faces!
It may be the reason they appeal to you as subjects is that their faces have a lot to say and make interesting pictures.
Wow, I'm practicing hatching and those faces are awesome! How did you learn that?
Thanks Patty. My college drawing teacher really cracked the whip on his students and those who survived came out with a wealth of knowledge. That and the fact that I just enjoy the process and practicing is how I learned it.
