At the wife's parents' house for Thanksgiving. Sister-in-law did much of the cooking. Good time with the family. There were more people in this scene but they all moved so much I couldn't get them all. Of course they didn't know I was drawing them, and if they did they probably would have stayed in the other room.

So is he not a socializer or is he watching TV? I can't imagine trying to draw during a family get together. For one, I'm helping to cook but everyone is moving like you say or they don't want to be drawn. Heck, they get annoyed with having photos taken.

I think this is a great line drawing. The room is so well illustrated - seems like a very comfortable space. The man pictured has the expression I get when I watch tv!
He looks comfy on the sofa. Nice soft pillows.
