Daily Sketch 71

Here is another drawing from imagination. I added a figure to the face that I did yesterday. A bit of a challenge to do without a model.

You must have had a figure drawing class before! (?) This is so well done from imagination. And, since I'm taking a class (online) on figure drawing, I'm starting to recognize certain characteristics. Like the legs being darker than the chest. Rim light. Well done!

Thanks, though many of my sketches have lately been in pen, I really enjoy working with pencil.
Raena - Yes, I have taken a lot of figurative drawing classes. There was a point in our instruction were our professor would have us draw from memory, which I think is a good skill to develop. When you use the term "rim light", does that mean the reflected light from the shadow side of the figure?
