Today's daily sketch is a study for this week's Illustration Friday topic "Wilderness". I am drawing upon memories, and a bit of creative license, for this piece. It is from my experience of being out in the field when I was enlisted in the Army.

Nice drawing but is that a good memory or a bad one??
Since the drawing refers to field training exercises it is a good memory. Thankfully the only "action" I ever experienced was being deployed to Cuba. For some reason God was watching over me because I have had lots of friends who had to go to Iraq and Afganistan. Count my blessings!
