Student Landscapes

I had the opportunity to give an art lesson for my wife's 3rd grade class a couple of days ago. We studied the landscape and used oil pastels and watercolor to create our design.
The first design is mine. I drew and painted with the students and guided them with each step of the picture making process. The other examples are the students'. Their pictures are hanging in the hallway that leads to their classroom. Perfect for last night's open house. They did a great job!

Looks like a lot of fun, both for the teacher and students. The kids must be proud to see their work on the hallway.

Doing art with children is just the best. Clearly they loved what you taught them and learned it well! What fun for all of you. nancy
