Illustration Friday: "Double"

Well, I was totally wiped out from yesterday's painting marathon. So needless to say, I took a break and didn't do any work on the project today. I'll resume tomorrow, but will probably not work as many hours.

I was still able to complete this week's Illustration Friday topic. Though it wasn't exactly what I envisioned in my mind, I am still happy with my illustration.

After starting my week off with such a demanding schedule, I definitely felt like having a "double" espresso.

Created with India ink, watercolor, and freshly brewed espresso.

Love the perspective! And great use of sepia ^^ I still haven't got into that mode yet, but someday I'd love to try that =)

What a clever idea! Great sketch. You tire me out just visiting your site with all the time you have been putting in with the marathon painting.

You expressed so much with espresso!

I have been meaning to try that--painting with coffee. I like this, and it is the first thing I thought of when I saw "double".

I like this a lot, and I'd like the way it smells, too! nancy

This is a lovely sketch, really creative and the perspective must have been quite a challenge!! Very cool!
