Everyday in May #11 through 17

I fell a bit behind with the Everyday in May challenge, but now I'm all caught up. It's been a bit busy lately with other art projects and outside commitments that the real big challenge is not the challenges themselves, but simply doing them. To save a bit of time, I haven't been doing much hatching with my technique, but have been doing mostly contour line. I forgot how much I enjoy the process and quality of contour line.

All drawings were created with an ultra fine Sharpie pen.

I love your contour line drawings - the simplicity of the lines has such impact.
I don't feel at all confident to do contour drawings but have in fact done one (well, sort of...) for my EDiM 'bowl' sketch. Hope to post that soon.

Nothing "ugly" about that guitar. Thanks for sharing your sketches. I am behind also. Need to spend some time this week catching up.
Aloha, Kate

Nice work. You certainly have a knack with simplicity of line.

The bowl drawing is amazing! And now *I'm* craving noodles! Although that may be because it's cold and rainy yet again today, which is always a perfect day for pho.
