Everyday in May #5 & 6

With all the work I was doing on yesterday's project, I didn't have time to draw the Everyday in May drawing. So I played catch-up today. Hopefully I won't have to do that again.
The first drawing of scissors is simply a positive/negative space drawing using words instead of tone or color. I like how words give an organic texture to a picture.
The second drawing of a lemon hardly looks like a lemon to me. It actually looks like the cross between a lemon and a strawberry. A lemon berry?
Both pictures were drawn with an ultra fine Sharpie pen.
