When our son was a toddler and we still lived in our apartment, we would frequently go for walks in our neighborhood. One place we liked to visit was a corner house that had dozens of bears carved out of wood. There were bears of many different shapes and sizes. One day when we were admiring the bears the homeowner came out with a small bear and asked if our son would like to have it. Well, of course he did! We were so grateful for the thoughtfulness and kindness. We still have the bear, and it allows us to look back on the fun times we had on our walks.
