The sketch is a final few studies to get the concept clearer in my mind before I started the illustration. Though my first application of watercolor was a bit heavy, I think the end result came out pretty well. This illustration was done with watercolor and pen/ink.

Hmmm, is the farmer letting weed take over his crops, our has he found a more lucrative buisness? Great sketch and watercolor!

Unfortunately for the farmers, Mary Jane growers expoit corn fields because it is difficult to spot the plant. Maybe corn farmers should have a medicinal business on the side of their regular crop harvest.
