Daily Sketch 17

This drawing is a study for this week's Illustration Friday topic "Blur". I like it when rendering a picture gets to the point where form is manipulated like clay. It reminds me of the etching process where numerous states show the process and metamorphosis of the print.
This is not exactly what I was envisioning for the final illustration. I am thinking about doing a monotype print for the final piece.

Drawn with Sharpie pen.

Super drawing! I also love that kind of "molding" or "shaping" in drawings. Is this a self-portrait?

Well done, David! You mold very well! LOL...just noticed the unintentional pun I created! ;)

Thanks Jennifer, it is a self portrait. I often do them when I run out of ideas.
Very punny, Raena! :)

I like how the penwork is everywhere and he emerges from it.
