Illustration Friday: "Transportation"

Had a challenge drawing not just a recumbent bicycle, but also drawing it with a figure riding it. I don't know how many sketches I did before I had the right proportions down. Didn't feel like making this a colored work. I often enjoy creating black and white art anyway. I think it is not appreciated enough by the general art viewer.
Drawn with pen and India ink.

I agree and this black and white is great. It has a sense of speed and motion and at the same time is very light. Did you create it from your head? or from a photo

This has a great sense of movement to it. You did a great job on the proportions and perspective. I am with you, I really like black and white.

Glad you both appreciate the black and white.
Alissa- I started the illustration as a sketch from my imagination and then used photo references to get the actual anatomy of a recument bike down.
