JLI Artshow

I'm entering yet another art show that is being held on June 1st at the Jagged Lines of Imagination art studio. Here are my three pieces that will be on exhibit. They are based on concepts learned during the JLI Art Club outings to the local museum. I really like participating with the Art Club because it gets me out of the confines of my own studio and allows me to mingle with other artist of varying abilities.
Speaking of art shows, I wasn't accepted to the regional art show that I mentioned a couple of posts ago. It had nothing to do with my art, just a misunderstanding of how to submit digital files. The gallery wanted the files on CD and I sent them via email. However, there was no mention of CD on the instructions. Since I didn't have time to send in a CD I missed out on the show. I brought it to the attention of the gallery head, and she apologized and said she would make corrections to the instructions for future exhibits.

Sorry to hear about the mix-up! These are terrific. Hope the show goes well!

I think I need to find an art club near me. The 'near me' part is the problem though. I could really use some inspiration and motivation!

Thanks, Raena. Yeah, it's difficult to find a good art group. In my area, it's not so difficult to find a group. The hard part is finding a group that has a professional focus, and not just a bunch of retirees that want to spend their spare time on painting pretty pictures. JLI is unique in its professional focus and I'm glad to be a part of it.
