Here are a few random sketches from the past week or so. This first one of of a wooden sculpture of an elongated cat. I found it in the school break room where I am teaching art lessons. I am thinking about including it as a subject for one of my lessons.
These next two are of my dog Ruby. They are kind of wimpy attempts at the subject because I was dealing with a cold and didn't physically feel like putting in a lot of effort with the drawings.
Still feeling sick later on in the day, I somehow managed to draw a couple of more sketches of some older fellows. When I run out of ideas for what to draw, I usually draw faces and old guys. Not sure what that says about me!
This last one if of my son. He is incredibly prolific with his art work. I couldn't help but be inspired by his activity so I drew him as he was working on his comic art.

I think your random sketches are really good, plus very interesting. As for the faces .... old ones usually have so much more to say than young ones, don't you think? Hope you feel better soon. nancy
Nice collection of sketches even if you were not feeling terrific.
I like the one of your son, especially!
That cat would make a great model for your class!
Older faces have a whole lifes history written on them, you probably respond to that.
I'm amazed you can draw anything if you don't feel well.
The drawing of your son is precious. That's a keeper, for sure.
Elongated cat looks funny =) Nice sketches !
